Pumpkin Chocolate Goodness
Hot chocolate with pumpkin puree.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 4 cups milk
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- whipped cream optional
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- combine all ingredients (except pumpkin and vanilla) in a saucepan. Whisk slowly until chocolate chips are melted. Do not boil.
- pour mixture into coffee mug and top with whipped cream and cinnamon
- turn off heat and add pumpkin and vanilla. Stir and serve immediately.
