Pumpkin Golden Milk

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup milk can use nut milks
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric root grated can use ground turnmeric
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of black pepper to increase turmeric absorption
  • 1 tsp maple syrup or raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm.
  • Whisk in the pumpkin puree, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper.
  • Add the vanilla extract and maple syrup for sweetness.
  • Whisk everything together until smooth and heated through.
  • Pour into a mug and enjoy warm.

This golden milk mocktail is anti-inflammatory due to turmeric and offers a warm, spiced flavor with the benefits of pumpkinā€™s vitamins and antioxidants.
